I was once asked to identify a smell that was present inside a pc.

I took off the case and `stuck my head in` - smelt normal...

They sniffed it.. and swore it smelt funny.

What it was was the usual smell u get when current is passed through electrics and fans are going, with greased parts etc..

I coined the phrase - "it`s a normal fan-y smell".

Wonder if she found it funny..
