Right guys we are on the look for people who want to give something back to the forums, as most will know we are all about this place being like a big family. Well we are looking to extend the family in a large way.

Staff Writers - (need to be able to write, have a huge knowlege, work well on deadlines. Post your reviews in members reviews, we will talk to you if we think there may be something there)

Forum Mods (we are looking out for you now, it could be you!)

Guides - Hints & Tricks (always looking for QUALITY guides ect that could be stickied in the specific forum)

We are looking for people for all of the above. The way it works is most of you have come here and learnt a great deal about your rig, now if you excel in one area maybe you can help others or even get paid to write reviews about it.

This is only a forum thing atm but we will be advertising for staff on the front page very soon.

If you need to ask about money and or "do I get keep everything" then sadly this is not for you. Im old school and you earn your salt with me.

Well, as previously applied for, I'm still interested in helping out on the moderating side if needed.

Lost by a few votes but didn't lose the interest.

I read every post nearly every day via the new content button and have done for nearly 3 years now.

Used to write news articles for OC3D for around a year which was great but had to stop that at the time.

You say you're already looking though so just figured I'd mention it

Alas I am a lowly noob wish I knew some hints and tips/tricks to help contribute, but atm I'm stuck with my lappy until I order all my parts and build my first gaming pc (will be my first desktop pc

) and I have indeed learnt alot about what parts suit my needs. . I have found this forum very informative and just wanna say thanks to all as I've only needed to make 1 small thread so far so thanks. Just hope my rig goes together with no hiccups.

(Also you may see couple more threads in the near future from me

I am very interest in the forum mod job, awesome forum and would love to be involved in it. Am always learning and it's great

I can't really be staff or a mod as I don't have a huge amount of time. However I would certainly be interested in writing some guides. Most of my knowledge in on linux but I will certainly contribute what I can.

I wouldn't mind being a moderator as I check the forums most days.

I wrote for OC3D previously and was pretty fun, not sure if I'd have enough time to write again but pm me if interested tom

I've also written on various linux wiki's (eg: gentoo back in the day) and have various articles on linux systems & administration on my websites ( aswell as windows tweaks and security recommendations ) so could write some guides. ( I've also written various security whitepapers )

A new linux guide would be good, i did one back in the day. Throw something together and lets see what you got.

I would be interested in any of them really, would love to help, though will be working on my dissertation till april but i'm sure i could spare some time

Although i dont post as often as i could but i read almost every thread, ill read the official requirements when its announced on the homepage before jumping into the deep end by saying "i`ll go for that" without knowing what its all about

I could also write quite a lot of guides...

for example programming in C and Java.

I could even write a java-guide with which

you can pass the SCJP-certification

(maybe OCJP now, but the same thing behind)

I could also make a guide for basics of

networks up to CISCO-specific router config...

again far enough to pass the first cert. (CCNP)

When required I would also give you a quick

intro for SAP and ABAP-Programming

Or maybe applescript?

And indeed some other computer-related guides...

...but I'm going to wait until the official paper

got released with the requirements :-)

Cool

didn't know there were any CCNP's on this forum

I did CCNA a few years ago and am also interested in networking/security etc (hence whitepapers etc)

Seems that a lot of the guides etc on the forum are old

Could use another guide maker for the Folding as i still don't see any of it

but i know i will have to be patients so i will....

maybe a seconf F@H mod as Charlie is quite busy lately ...

Photoshop guides or any links and stuff , no problem for me ,

just hope i get Ps to work again...........

Any guides just get posted up guys, if they are awesome Ill sticky them but please dont take offence if not. Remember many readers dont post and think it will be a staff job.

Members reviews are the places to post any reviews, and as stated above if they are any good Ill contact you

I would love to give back to OC3D by helping to moderate the forums.
