OC3D Needs Writers

It would be great to see more people on the team.

Right now we are 3 people strong and all of us have obligations outside of OC3D, having more people on the team will allow us to deliver more content and hopefully help OC3D as a whole become the site we want it to be.

I personally find working for OC3D very rewarding, and I am proud to be part of the OC3D News team. If you are capable you too can become part of the team, if you are willing to put in a little effort.

Mark really is the news boss for want of a better term - hes become part of the OC3D family in many ways and works incredibly hard -

Mark, Shaun & Daan are all epic in their own right but we are still very interested in bringing new people into the team.

Mobiles, Laptops, Games, Software, Drivers - whats your mastermind subject and would you love to share your enthusiasm with the world and earn yourself a few quid too?

Writing for OC3D is very rewarding indeed. Not only the pay, but the feeling that people are actually reading your articles and the appreciation from the team and the community are what makes writing here great.

If you feel you're capable, and want to join the team, don't hesitate to post something in the News Section.

Honestly, I'd love to write for OC3D, but I don't know if I can find the time/commitment. I've got a 1 week holiday, so I'll see if I can write a bit

To be honest what they want to hear is people who CAN find the time. I know I sound like an ass but all these posts "I'd love to write but dont have the time" means diddly squat to someone looking to employ another. If you can't give the committment there isn't much point replying.

I don't mean it to sound offensive, but I want to see replies of people who are eager and readying some news so I have some reading to look forward to

Its not an interview, just a forum thread. Im not trying to please anyone by posting in here. I'm perfectly aware that in order to get this position, you actually need to go and write. I'm not exactly sure what you thought my post was trying to achieve, but to be honest it was just a random post.

Chill dude, I think it's quite nice that some folk do say they wish they had more time for OC3D in this respect. I know I used to engage a lot more and add new content every other day and I soon will again, I also guess that when most people are saying that they don't have the time this can be taken another way, as in while writing takes little time which is true, it's the research and detailing that consumes most content writers time, I know from past reviews and news pieces I've done, it's not just a case of Oooh Kitguru's nvidia news... copy/paste/edit a little bit/pass it off as my own, it takes some real time and effort. Props to anyone who takes it on and continues to deliver the news.

Yeah I chose bad wording I suppose. I'll probably get some flak for it but oh well. What I tried to say was if replies were just "I'd love to but don't have time" and that's it, then there was no point replying. I just came off pretty harsh which wasn't my intention.

Well there is a point. If people say they'd like to help its just a kind gesture. If we only had posts that had a clear point on the forum... Well there wouldn't be much posting

I hope I get considered as a writer. I have all the time in the world. My English and grammar is top notch. I'm very creative and good at explaining things in my writings. Unfortunately I only have 97 posts not including this one. I guess I'll need to submit at least a thousand posts to be considered for a position with OC3D.
