Here's what you need to run God of War Ragnarok on PC

Yeah, but Sony won't let me buy it in my country. I need a PSN account to play a single player game, which Sony won't let me make. Not that I'd even want to, considering their track record with customer data.

If you are concerned about data you should just refrain from the entire digital world. Even Apple products despite what their marketing would have you believe.

The way I see it is that Sony is asking you to pirate their games! And I woudn't judge you if you did!

My point is that Sony gets hacked on a pretty regular basis.

Less than MS, but I'm sure you buy MS funded games? In addition the amount of "hacks" occuring rises every year. Bigger and bigger hacks are taking place by governments and/or government backed groups. My original point still stands. If you are so worried there's no reason to even be making a digital footprint.

None that require an MS account.

None of that is of any interest to me. I'm talking about a company that's often successfully targeted and has not demonstrated any efforts to improve its cybersecurity, and how they're demanding creating an online account for a single player game. You're talking about what-ifs and other hypotheticals.

It doesn't interest you yet is relevant. You cite being successfully targeted but yet since 2011 Sony has had 0 customer data breaches. The hacks they have received are targeted at obtaining film, game, IP data. This isn't hypotheticals. This is what is happening.
