OC3D Needs Writers

If you're writing a news article, it should be impartial and give the reader all the info they need to form their own opinion.

If you're writing a review, then it is your opinion that counts - as long as you can back it up with facts!

We are still monitoring peoples posts - a couple posts and then stopping pretty much means you wont last long doing it for real. We are looking for a high standard and some consistency, Average Ninja wrote his first article for the front page today......

I've still got my eye on it, but there hasn't been as much relevant news the past couple of days I don't think.

I so badly want to be a writer in the forums but I tried and now I don't know what to do anymore... ICT studies starting next month. Hopefully that helps

Just keep searching the net, anything relevant share it through the news thread. Give credit to other sites where its due. :)

I'd like to do it also. I can't keep it up on a regular basis though. That being said, I wouldn't be looking to be paid for it either. This is my hobby after all, its the enjoyment that counts.

I had two reviews that I was about to add for future modders related to the Dremel Motosaw and the router attachment but I wasn't happy with my report. I guess being a little perfectionist or OCD is not a great trait to have as a reporter/writer

So far both AverageNinja & ShaunB-91 have both started writing for the site but we are always going to be looking out for writing talent even if its just a couple of (awesome) pieces a week.

Mobiles, Gaming and off topic enthusiast news are all of interest

And they are doing a great job. Keep it up (the news!) fellas.

I guess the most common reason for people not to join is because they dont have time on hand, not for searching for news and not for composing an article.

End of the day peeps we are looking for writers as a paid position. Once youve settled in and shown you are reliable and can meet the requirements needed I pay you for every bit of news you post - Its all very simple... Done right with quality news you could be on the equivalent of £15ph

It would be great to see more people on the team.

Right now we are 3 people strong and all of us have obligations outside of OC3D, having more people on the team will allow us to deliver more content and hopefully help OC3D as a whole become the site we want it to be.

I personally find working for OC3D very rewarding, and I am proud to be part of the OC3D News team. If you are capable you too can become part of the team, if you are willing to put in a little effort.
