Right then boys and girls Im looking to bring some new bods on to the team so we can start churning out more reviews and guides (written only)

Reviewing isnt what most people dream it to be with parts falling from the heavens. Its hard work, testing takes its time, theres are no deadlines and you wont automatically get to keep everything.

If you dont like what you hear youre not the person Im looking for but thank you for reading.

If how ever youre still here, have a way with words, know your tech, willing to learn my way of doing things and feel like you are up for a challenge then you may well fit in here.

Im always looking for people to join the team in a range of roles but we are on the look out for a dedicated watercooling reviewer among other things.

If this hasnt put you off so far theres no need to grovel and swear allegiance here.... You need to post some proof of youre own work in the OC3D Members Reviews. Please dont waste our time with I didnt have much time so I did this quick, you need to treat it like a job interview. If any catch my eye I will contact you directly. Also old reviews do NOT apply.

FYI reviews can be about anything, you dont need to buy anything but it has to be all your own work and if I do contact you then youll get requested to write other stuff anyways so dont bother trying to copy and paste it doesnt work ;)


I apologise if that all sounds negative but tbh boys and girls if that has put you off it wouldnt have worked out anyways!

What do you mean by Low Power Systems?
Something in the family of raspberry pi (max 5W) or like custom build PCs with low power consumption.
Both have its merit, tho I think the latter will have more meat on it.
Thinking low noise(fanless?), can it still be used for gaming, how do I build a cheap/good PC for my "mom" etc.
Raspberry Pi and Arduino quickly gets quite complicated to work with if you dont have any experience, but there are also alot of stuff to be written about that.
Building your own webcamstreakfor under 30 quid, mediacenter setup (what can such a simple system handle etc.)

Or have you thought of something different than that :-)

I might consider applying..

FM2 / i3 its all about lower end systems and the full range of hardware around it.
 
To everyone posting, Ive said this before Ill say it again.

Just saying you want to do it isnt enough and already shows your not listening.

Ive said I want *NEW* pieces of writing not PM's, not links to other sites.

NEW work.

Is this really that difficult to grasp?
 
Right Peeps This thread has been cleansed and I have removed all of the old posts that people didnt reply to and all the things that were simply not related

If you are serious about applying and Have read the first post and understand everything including then feel free to post.

If its not related it will be removed from now on.

If you catch Toms eye you will know about it so dont go saying you will have the job, its like any other interview you have to be picked by the Big Man himself

I would just like to register my interest in this.

Edit: The Haswell overclocking guide I've part written is turning into something too involved for now so I'm writing a GPU review which I'll put up over the coming days.

I'll post a link back here when it goes live.

I am quite sure that this hiring gave him a bigger headache than he anticipated...
 
There is no timescale once he finds the right people he will stop looking. Its not limited to OC3D he will search elsewhere if he doesnt find the correct people for the job
