OC3D COD4 Server

Due to increasing problems with the COD4 server being hacked we have had no choice but to make the server available for legitimate instalations only.

Anyone using generated keys or any kind of game hacks will be refused access and the ID's will be banned not just with us but ALL COD4 servers.

We are disapointed it has come to this, but feel we were left with no other alternative.

Am I to assume that you have closed down the server or just made it legitimate?

This way I will know whether I need to add the server IP again.

Just been on for a quick look, its amazing that it was almost full the other day and now no one is on it. I also note that it still says the server IP address is banned by PB is that the case?

ahh i guess thats why its empty then. even the legit players cant get on now

Nothing much we can do in that case other than shut it down completely

One that ends in .86 and one that ends in .85?

Whichever one was the converted one should be shut down but if the other one hasn't been banned, then keep that running as the main one.

There was one running on .86, but not a single bugger ever joined it despite constant messages on the .85 server. In the end I had to take it down because I couldn't waste an IP just for that

I think if we set a date and time and all get on, it might start filling.

The thing is, it needs to be hard core now, the game has been out far too long and most people only want to play that.

.85 take the action you mentioned. I have posted on gametracker as there were a lot of comments about it there.

Such a shame that hackers can ruin things, but they don't care. Lets get #2 up and running again.

Final thing from me, all though I am saying time and place I won't be able to play till sunday evening. too busy searching!!!
