Hello :wavey:

I am probably going to get an E2160 to overclock it, along with 2Go DDR2 (800Mhz) and a 8800gt. I don't have much money, so i'm looking for a cheap motherboard supporting Sata and audio. I obviously need a good BIOS though, which will let me overclock the CPU as much as i want.

I was thinking about the Asus P5KPL-VM which seems to be ok, but i have no idea of how the bios is. Do you know this motherboard ? Have you heard anything about it ? I haven't found much information through internet browsing.

If not, do you know any cheap mb that would fit my requierements ? :)

Thank you for your help.

I'd agree with buff, anything with the p35 chipset should be good. The Abit IP35-E should be good, as the Pro version I've got is excellent :)

you could try an Asus P5K-VM which would give you integrated gfx but Asus mATX mobo BIOS tend to be rather sparse.

Or something like the eVGA/XFX 650i Ultra which needs a gfx card - imo P35 is a better chipset than nF650i so for the sake of an extra fiver or so I would get the IP35-E.

Well i just found out that the Gigabyte P31-DS3L is good at o/c, cheap and offers almost everything i could expect from a P35 chipset mainboard.

I think i'm gonna stick with it ! :]
