NZXT Switch 810 vs Corsair 600T

Hey Guys,

So i'm looking for a new case, about £130, which is white but still has black elements to it. So far the contenders for me are the Switch 810 and the 600T.

I personally prefer the look of the 600T, but like the features of the 810.

I would just like to know your opinions and which one you would get with the money.

Thanks in advance

Kev

Will you be Watercooling?

Possibly, I've never watercooled before but im quite interested in doing a small loop maybe like cpu, and gpu, if i can get a block for my gpu that is.

Although i may just use one of the new all-in-one loops that some manufactures offer now seeing as more are coming onto the market.

Thanks for the reply! :D

The Switch 810 Has massive support for Watercooling. Check Tom's review to see what size radiators will fit!

The 600t would fit ****MOST***** All in one Loops (240mm, like the H100i)

Okay. This is slightly off topic, but how much water cooling equipment could you probably get for H100i money?

Not much.

Pushing the budget a little more, you could get a cheap CPU only loop, but I wouldn't really recommend it.

Okay thanks. Has anyone here actually made their own watercooling loop?

If so, how tricky is it and how expensive for say, a gpu and cpu block + rad, pump, res, ect?

Another thing i have just thought about. I have a GTX 660 Ti Power Edition from MSI. Should i return it and get a reference one, then get water cooling, ect. Or leave it how it is and just get a CPU loop going?

If you want to do a CPU & GPU loop properly youll need £300 as a minimum.

BTW these are all things you could easily find out by looking at watercooling retailers.

If you are unsure get the 600T and the H100i - at least then you have no chance of wasting your money on the wrong things.

Since this morning, i've been thinking. I think that, now, i might mod my current case which is a CiT Saturn. At the moment, i hate the case. The side panel is too big and has no decent features which i would like to fix.

Surprisingly, for such a small case. You can fit a lot of stuff in. With a short power supply (140mm) you could cut holes in the roof and put a 240mm rad in there. Possibly even 60mm push-pull configuration depending on the motherboard heatsinks. If you cut out one side of the harddrive cage at the bottom of the case you can fit a 420mm rad if you cut some holes (again :P). Probably 60mm thick again but not push push pull. Also radiator thickness on that one depends on how many graphics cards you have installed.

If i do decide to do custom watercooling (which i probably wont) i definately wouldn't be able to afford all that though :P

Thanks for reading xP

Watercooling isn't cheap. TTL is correct, $250 is about baseline for a decent CPU only loop. My WC gear is at about 1K total, factoring pump, rads, fans, reservoirs, blocks, and the Aquaero 5 controller.

However, most WC gear can be re-used once you build a new system, save for GPU blocks (unless you go with a universal block, which, isn't nearly as good.)

Twice the cooling proficiency over Air.
