NZXT Switch 810 Build/Mod Log

Tis the Mayhems UV Green dye
smile.png
I do not have any UV Tubes, however, this green, is very VERY sexy, its about 10 drops i think.......

And with the new pics, comes new hardware !!

They include:

Asus GTX 680

Gigabyte Z68 G1 Sniper.2

Scythe Fan Controller

All is well !! motherboard looks perfect in this now, everything is suited beautifully, the Fan controller is flipped sexy, they onscreen LCD looks fantastic, and i can see RPM, and with the Temp probe, which right now, on idle says it is......... 24c
smile.png
which is not too bad i must say !! even though software tells me its like 32c... not sure which one is right?

NEXT on the to do list:

-Replace the res to a EK 150 Advanced, so that the 24 pin isnt as crammed, and it will fit better,

-Get a GTX680 block

-Spend some time doing my cablemanagement as there is now a fan mess with the fan controller !! thats why there is no pictures of it

Please let me know what you think

I think it looks fine as is that 24 pin doesnt look cramped. And 10 drops of UV green???? you be crazy lol dont try and change the color as Mayhems UV green is potent stuff. A little goes a long way mate. I'd of only used that much if i had say 4-5 liters of liquid in there. But still looks epic to me

I like the sleeving, good job on that, and i dont think you should do bether cablemanagement, if you do you dont show off your cables that much, but if its at the back i think it ok, but dont hide your cable more than you have done now

Thinking of doing a PSU cover, which will sit on the psu, and range to the front RAD, and have a side piece too, so the PSU will not bevisible, nor will the bottom of the pump, or hard drives... YAY or NAY

It'd look cleaner with a cover but I really think all that colour of the cables coming straight out of the psu adds to the overall look, I love it the way it is!

Finally fixed the cathode cable mess, and i also got a new res

next update, 2 weeks time with the GPU block!!

Sweeeeeet!

I'm planning a very similar themed build at the moment, black and lots of UV green! Although mine will be in a 650D.

I just need to get off my ass and start a project log!

I love how your sleeving turned out, I hope mine looks as good.

Cheers!

I like it, though, the only suggestion I have is to move the SSD to the back of the mobo tray. I think it would clean things up a bit. Other than that she's looking really good!

Well i have it on the bottom with the HDD because then i only have to have one sata power cable ( easier to cable manage )

I DID intend on having it on the back of the mobo tray (both hdd and ssd) but there is no room.

Personally, i would love to see a revision 2 of this case, i could give you at NZXT some of my thoughts, which i know are thought by many, because a few little things to this case, would make it the most perfect case <3

Nice job!

Aren't those double wires on the psu just a pita ? I'm kinda held back by that to sleeve my ax850...

They are hard to get right, but you get the hang of it after a while...

I actually have the 15mm pre cut stuff, and also the long 100m of uncut, and i cut 20mm of heatshrink off, it tends to line up well,

Key is to melt the shit of the heatshrink

Got bored, decided i need to fix my cables up, and also hide my hdd and ssd because they really were out of place!

Hopefully 680 block + backplate are here this week
