secondly i know it bothered ya but I liked the look of the bigger rez. This still looks great mind ya. But I bet that shorter one is a helluva lot easier to fill. Love what ya did to the SSd and HDD I might just steal that for mine I have the thin single platter Seagate 250GB drive so it should be easy enough lol.

Hmmm, looks like we have different views, i like it with the smaller one
tongue.png

smile.png

Thanks !! yeah well i got sick of it being all ugly in my floor, found out i could screw it in through the 5.25" bay = happy me
biggrin.png

sweet even better it has screws in it I thought maybe just velcro or double sided tape.

funny I havent dropped a single scre into my psu 9wacth me now drop the next 5-10 now) but I do drop them behind my rad on the floor all the time. Thank God for magnetic screw drivers lol

dont get me wrong I like it with the small one also I just liked the bigger one more as it showed more color

Yes !! the trick
biggrin.png
right

there are two little well.. BOOB like things on the side where my HDD is. you use a small scew, and screw from the inside, to screw into the MIDDLE of the HDD, you then get another screw and screw from the inside, so that the HDD can lean on it, so it doesnt fall over. Personally, for me this works because i do not move the case. But if you move your case a lot, i would recommend modding the bay to have a new plate to which you can screw one in

Hahahaha, well i had enough of it
tongue.png
now it looks more stealth the *wrong way down* to me anywho !!!

Yeah well, your point is valid, i do still have the 250 res, who knows, i might even swap it back

I think I may be dying... because those are some pretty BRIGHT lights you got there.

As a Switch 810 user myself.. I have a question, do you have any issues lifting your rig up?

No no !! they really arent that bright, i think i need to find a better setting on my camera, fiddle around with the ISO, because inface they are a perfect GLOW, not really a bright beam,

Get two cathodes. put them on either top and bottom, and at night time, it is illuminated beautifully

That looks really nice, however have you thought about mixing white lights up with the green? It might break up the vast sea of green light and better showcase some of the nice silvery bits you have in there.

I'm not a fan of monotones

Trust me, the pictures many times lies about the colour and brightnes of lightning.

Correct; In reality it is a very loom green, and just lights up the case a nice green. No where near the brightness of what appears in the pics !!

Note: Will be redoing the loop layout, and also have changed a few fittings around. Nothing major but will get the pics up when done

Thought I would change around my loop
smile.png
It now flows the correct way, so that it goes through the right ports on the cpu block

Too much green, should have used white lights. The green lights just bleach out the green accents.

Also as for the hosing it should have gobe GPU-CPU putting the rad in between has just made hosing more untidy.

I quite liked the rig till I saw that. Rookie mistake.

ALWAYS MAKE IT TIDY!

Also on the rad if you had swapped the hoses round you could have run the res hose round the mobo and don the back panel making it look 10X tidier

So instead of my 12" Green cathodes, use White ones instead? I think the camera is capturing too much green; because in reality it isnt as green as half of the pictures are showing.

I do not get by what you mean by swapping the hoses around, Could you please explain a little better?

I think i have to agree with Tom, the green overpowers it a little too much i think, and im not a massive fan of that single optical bay just sort of floating there. A good build none the less though
