Nvidia GTX 670 MSI OC

I'm confused as to where this is going to be coming in performance wise ... the 680 just barely beats the 580 and the 680 costs 500$ and the 580 still is around 430$ I have no clue where this is going to fit in

I think the selling point of this is to be the 570 but silent.

I personally think that the fact its tiny is fantastic. The advancements in technology that have enabled such high performane devices to shrink by almost 50% is just awesome. Jut because something is small doesnt make it less awesome. If its a beast its a beast bottom line if mvidia could make a half height product that performed the same as the full height mid-high end id be on it like a car bonnet making micro beasts for giggles. But i shall agree on one thing the shroud on the heatsink looks like crap

Well, ofcourse it's amazing that if this performs like the 570/80 and still is so small, but still fugly.

Didnt TTL say in the 680 review that there was what looked like alot of dead space on the pcb. Maybe they just squashed things down a bit.

Perhaps they could make the 680 smaller, but would it look as good against its rivals?

There are two versions of the 670 coming, this one with the short PCB and one based on the 680 PCB.

I really don't see why everyone is moaning about the PCB being short, not so much here but at other places people are coming out with all kinds of crap. It's not like the PCB being short has an affect on how good the card is

Just found on a Malaysian site that the 670 was listed on an online retailer at 1,380 Malaysian Ringgits, which is £280 or $452 or €346. Obviously different tax rates will alter prices so it will be more like £310 (or around that mark i'm guessing) in the UK, and different retailers will have them on sale for varying prices. This means it's right up against the 7950 in terms of price, but in the benches the 670 beats the 7950, 7970 and is just behind the 680 so this is looking like a gem of card.

As i've said earlier, it is amazing that they can fit tech in such a small space, still looks ugly as fu...

That Giga one is the 680 PCB version, I think Palit or Point of View are other manufacturers I saw who had 670s with a 680 PCB version.
