Noctua D14

I ordered my D14 from a reputable store only to be given my money back as they can't get it in stock (screwed up face). I paid £65 with free delivery, so now I need to order another 1!

Can someone recommend a good site to order from, and maybe one that offers a next day day deliver for cheap?

Thank you

Ebuyer are the fastest dispatcher in my experience, and cheapest I could find with delivery

D14+IC Diamond 24carat 4.8 tube = good results?

Also,a bit OT, but does anyone know what the difference in temps would be with the 24carat and lower carat?

They are the same compound, just different sized tubes.

I use the IC Diamond with my Silver Arrow and I freakin' love the stuff. No considerable break-in period either.

Your gonna be so happy with the DH-14. Amazingly cool and quiet. Ive been testing it on a 2500k the last two days and the temps didnt go above 56 degrees, in prime, stock settings but with silent mode in bios. Getting my own DH-14/2500k on monday or thursday for my lan rigg. Will be properly tested with overclocks then.

Who needs choices when we get the best prices even with the somewhat limited selection of e-tailers. Hehe

In some cases yes. But being in the supplier side of the business for a short while I realised not everybody, even ppl who're well off, can afford to get their items delivered to them due to gas prices and shipping costs getting more costly. Lots of small retailers that have been in the business before the idea of online shopping began have closed down. It's just sad to see that happening as it means that there's less competition for the bigger retailers. In the end it's harder for the smaller businesses to make a living.

Cool. So what choices do you have? I know the major one's are NCIX and Newegg.

Newegg is for the whole of N. America, but for the Canadian market, there are a few major retailers such as NCIX, Memory Express, Canada Computers. Those are just the more well known ones. Like I mentioned earlier, it's sad to see a lot of the smaller retailers that have been around long before the major ones being closed down. Price matching is great for customers, but not so good for businesses. A lot of local retailers don't stand a chance once it comes down to matching prices with competitors. I know from 1st hand experience. Sorry guys, I'm going off on a tangent.

I know how you feel mate. My uncle had a computer store and it was quite hard to compete with the larger companies. He left the company after a while, but his friend continues to run it.

Sorry guys for going off-topic. Back to the topic: The D-14 is awesome
