new start what to get ?

am thinking of 3 new Mainboard's

1.ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z

2.MSI Z68A-GD80

3.GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD4

what do you all think is the bag for buck?

There are going to be a lot of upcoming Z77 boards around soon. If you are not desparate to buy right now, its worth hanging on for a couple of weeks to see whats available and how it compares to the current crop of Z68 boards.

But I would go for the GD-80. Never go with mATX mobos because their tight circuitry will produce more heat than ATX mobos

GeneZ gen 3 is what I have and I love it. its also 22nm 1155 ready.

I'd get a MSI Z77-GD65. I do not know if they are available in the UK, but they are in the Netherlands.

so for now here in canada the z77 are not out but will be in not long so am going to ride it out tell then but yes the MSI z77-gd65 looks vary tasty !

Z77 is definitely the way to go. Wait for all the manufacturers to release their boards and then decide via reviews
