I'm running an 840 evo 1tb ssd. Haven't noticed any issues. Also using a crucial M500 and its not the fastest one i have had but i really only noticed it during boot and transferring lots of files. Though if i were to buy one now, it'll be Crucial or Intel

Nice. I'm running a Crucial drive at the moment.

I've not had any experience with Samsung SSDs, so I'm hoping it's a good change.
