If you're going best of the best then get a single 7970 as they OC like beasts and are awesome for multi display setups.

There are loads of nice SSDs out there. The Kingston Hyper X is by far the best looking (imo) and one of the fastest out there, but it is more expensive as you are given a few extras along with the SSD. A really popular choice is the Crucial M4 as it seems it is one of the most reliable drives out there. Mushkin also have some stellar drives, namely the Chronos.

Don't know much about sound cards and water cooling so I can't help you there. Have you considered the NH-D14, Silver Arrow, Havik of phanteks cooler?

I do like Havik 140 if I go for a air cooler.

Thank you for your insite on the SSD

For the sound card try an Asus Xonar DX or if your wallet will stretch that far an Asus Essence STX the rest sounds great

Wow that's a lot of RAM, I know it's cheap but 32GB is crazy!

Go for a R7970 like everyone else said.

Well there's a wide variety of options for SSD's but as mentioned the Crucial M4 is a common choice.

For the PSU a good 650w model is more than enough for a single card. Although if you want to go crossfire with 2x7970 in the future the Corsair AX850 you've picked is more suitable.

the xonar DG is a great lil sound card although it is cheap. ive been using one for a while now and i havent found any problems with it xD

I think I will be going crossfire 2x7950 or 2xNvidia next series cards(GTX-670), if they beat amd. But I like the 3GB DRR5 on the amd cards.

I play all my games on 32" 1080p and use a 22" for work stuff. I can't wait for 4k the come to Australia. I mite buy a 4k projector next and go sick.

Thank you for your info.

That sounds awesome, the rig you have planned + 4k

Well go for a good 850w PSU then and it will work fine. I don't know about Nvidias TDP but I'm gonna guess it's not all that much higher than what AMD has.

Np mate

Very nice plans you got m8.

I must be slightly drunk because i was about to ask you why you are going with 8gb ram modules. Nvm though

Very nice set up imo. For SSD's id recomend you the already said hyperX, Crucial M4 but the OCZ Vertex 3/max iops, Corsair Gt3/force3 are also very nice. These SSD's are among the top 4 ssd's in every test ive seen.

You should also check out the Intel SSD's. They might be slightly slower in some tests but they are produscing ssd's with less problems than the competitors.

The H100 is nice but ive heard that the fluids used is glycol, and it only lasts for about 2 years. Ive had the H70 and i sold it right away after i heard that. Yassirikhan is recomending some really top coolers, so id suggest you go with one of them. That is, if you dont want to watercool the cpu/gpu with custom wc or wc kit.

Good luck on your aweome build and remember to post it in the project or rig gallery

I heard you can use some of your Ram to make your SSD/HDD caching work a lot faster.

I would like to try it.
