Looks good but you could do a few minor changes. Get a Corsair, Enermax or seasonic psu instead of the CM one. I personaly love the Corsair AX series, so i recomend you to get a AX850 or AX1200. The case has good airflow but the design is so ugly. I never liked the Haf series, and i think you grow bored of the looks pretty fast. I can recomend you a few cases you could look into. The CM stormtrooper, CosmosII(very large/expencive case), NZXT Phantom, Corsair Graphite 600T, the carbide 500r, SS Raven RV03, SS Fortress II. you should also check out the cases from Lian li since they got great designs and build quality.

You get a litle more performance and options then going 1155 and 2600k/2700k, but its alot more expencive. I think a 2600k/2700k is enough for most people and more bang for the buck. Ivy Bridge is being launched 8th of April so you could wait for that to happend and decide then. Also, Nvidia is launching new gpu's soon...

What kinda work do you do on a pc?

hey,

Thank you for your response.

I mainly play games and Make/Render 3D models.

I thought that the 3820 performed better than 2600k in benchmarks?

It doesnt perform better in all tests. There might be several reasons for purchasing a 3820

-You need more PCIe lanes than a Core i7 2600K can provide,

-You need tons of memory bandwidth for a particular application

-you need a platform that can support more memory (32GB+).

Tbh i think you would do just fine with a 2600k/2700k, 16gb ram, a good p67/z68 Mobo. Or you could pay a bit extra and get the 3930k instead of the 3820.

ok, I'l goo with the 2600k and Asus p8z68 Deluxe/gen3

Very nice. Im sure you be satisfied and happy

Yup, I very much agree with Azurite. You may also want to wait a bit and see what Ivy Bridge has to offer as the release is just a few months away. Motherboards from Asus, MSI or Gigabyte are generally the big 3 I'd recommend. Full tower cases do give you a lot of space to work with, but they also take up a lot of space as a whole. If you don't necessarily need that much space from a full tower, you may also look into mid tower cases. I'd also like to recommend the Fractal Design cases, such as the Define R3 and the Arc Midi which are very nice and solidly built cases.
