Several Questions + Building New Gaming Rig

I am not sure if this is the proper section to post, but I assume it will get bummed if so.

I have been gaming on computers since I was like 10 or so (currently 26), however I only built one really nice rig one time back in 2008. I am, as you can guess, a huge gamer. Looking to stream, record, vlog, game etc on a high level (assumed the purpose of the build was important). I am currently looking to build a new rig and I want to make sure that everything will work together (along with some other questions).

For example, can I still use my Antec 850 Watt model number: TPQ-850 will be able to power my new rig? I know that it says it is designed for up to 4 cores, and I have the i7-6900k on the way.

Another one of my other worries, is getting new memory and it not being compatible with my MoBo (I was hoping for some suggestions or direction with that- since I want to get faster speed memory)? I am on the fence with what motherboard to get hopefully you can help me out ☺. Sure, I can pay $600+ dollars for a motherboard, but I am not sure that I need all the features I am paying for. That being said, I am leaning towards MSI’s Gaming Pro Carbon, but can’t find memory that will be compatible with the board (I know there are the OC Speeds 3000+ but does that mean I can just stick some 3600 speed sticks in there and it will be fine)? I have heard that some people when they put too high speed of memory into boards, they won’t even turn on. I am trying to avoid the sending it back and finding the compatible memory through trial and error.

In addition, I want to make sure that I can maximize the usage of my PCI lanes, since I will be having SLI 1080s (EVGA Classified), 2x Samsung 850 Evos, and not sure if I am going to use or can use the thunderbolt business etc since I am fairly new to reading about it. Hopefully, one of the motherboard listed, or the Gaming Pro Carbon can hold all the need components.

An SSD question, is 2x Samsung 850 1TB Evo’s fine to have together? I ask, because of the U.2 and M.2. I am not sure if I need different SSDs or not.

Last other random question/thought, is will the case fit everything I have listed below, little worried since it is a mid tower (IN WIN 805 Black Aluminum Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower).

Anywho, let me just list the parts I am looking to get (I have a tendency to rant lol sorry):

Sorry for not being more clear:

1. Can I still use my Antec 850 Watt model number: TPQ-850 will be able to power my new rig? Or should I just get a new PSU such as: FSP Group U.S.A. PT FM Series 1000W ATX 12V v2.4 and EPS 12V v2.92 80 Plus Platinum Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply 1000 Energy Star Certified PT-1000FM.

2. What motherboard would you all recommend and what is the fastest memory exactly I can get?

3. I am leaning towards the X99A Gaming Pro Carbon, will that bottle neck this system in anyway?

4. Is 2x Samsung 850 1TB Evo’s fine to have together (for all the board listed)?

5. Will the case fit everything I have listed below, little worried since it is a mid tower (IN WIN 805 Black Aluminum Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower)?

6. I'm worried about the PCI lanes. Correct me if I am wrong, but 2x 1080s will take 32lanes and then 2x SSDs will take another 8lanes? Or are the lanes from CPU different from the board? The 6900k only has 40 PCI lanes, right? Is there room for me to add another SSD with an M.2? Or am I just not understanding how PCI lanes works?

1: Watts are fine. If you wanted to get a new PSU look at something from Superflower, Corsair etc.

2: Memory speed will come down to a mixture of the CPU and the bios. Till you choose what one you cant really decide on memory speed. Asus boards are much better with high memory at safe background volts (from current testing)

3: Bottle nck is a dirty word, dont use that again.

4: drives are fine, if youre using Raid0 thats very different.

6: You cant get anymore than 40 lanes. Normal SSD's dont use PCIE lanes.

Are you actually looking at buying this kit or is this a 'dream list'?

Magnificent! Thank you so much.

Given the current components considered, do you have any recommendations on what MoBo? I watched that review you did on the Gaming Pro Carbon it looked ideal (I think this is you at least lol). I am open to getting something like a Rampage too though. Thoughts?

I am actually looking to buy this kit. I started with buying the 6900k, which should be here in a few days. Looking for the 1080s now etc..
