HA! Just now in the middle of a bloody night I decided to check it out, before making the final decision and guess what - X99A SLI Plus is available again. I guess I'll go with this one after all

This is what I came up with so far:
Intel Core i7-5820K
MSI X99S SLI
G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4
GIGABYTE GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD GeForce GTX 970
CORSAIR Hydro Series H100

My budget is ~1200-1500 EUR

Additional cores aside, wouldn't you be better off going for a i7-6700K based rig with a GTX980, or even a 1080 depending on when you plan on building it.
