New Motherboard Advice

Hello,

I'm getting a new motherboard and cpu soon.

It's the 2600k and the MSI Z68A-GD65-G3.

I'm getting rid of my i5 760 and the MSI P55-GD65

"Sorry if this is a noob question"

Will I have to reinstall Windows 7? or will it boot fine without having to do a fresh install?

I'm thinking I'll have to do a fresh install, am I right?

Your welcome, just so you know. When windows detects more than a 80% hard ware change, you have to repair or do a fresh install.

If you repair your current install wont change, but I always like a fresh start with new hardware. Just feels better, but thats just me.

Totally agree with 8bit, new hardware isn't new without new software. Regardless of hassle.
