Easy boys, some are just using the forum, some are looking for faults. Either is cool, we are fully aware there are bugs but theres no need to start waving handbags is there?

OK, I have a small annoying bug. When I post a reply to a thread I get the "This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 30 seconds." warning, but the reply is actually posted without my knowledge. I post again (since I think it did not the first time) and I create an accidental double-post.

It's a bug that has been mentioned a few times in this thread. Nicknamed the "30 second bug".

It happens to everyone I think.

Solution to the 30 second post problem

When you press post. It's done. If you wait 30 seconds and press post you will create a double post.

So what I am saying is that once you press "post" just leave it.

You are right, sorry, I did not read the whole thread (stopped about 6-7 pages in). As for the solution, I kinda got to the same conclusion myself. But it does look like a high priority bug to me, miles above the "not seeing the smilies".

Right, I don't use the forums much, but I still read the reviews here, and here's a couple of suggestions I have from very top of the front page - both from a users perspective and a developers perspective:

With the double posting issue, which im getting also when replying to a thread... for now please use the " go advanced " option.

That seems not to cause a double post issue.

Other issues are being dealt with as we speak.
