I quite like that. I think it would look ok on your desk, though how good those speakers would be is another thing altogether

It's different i'll give it that. Speakers may not be too bad if you used them as satellites and bought a beefy sub, but they are sure to suck on their own.

I thikn its teh gheyness with the glass. Maybe side mount the speakers on the LCD and make them long and thing and you have a winner. The glass would cause some horrible glare.

It really isn't that bad, you get used to it after a week or so, and then it feels normal

I agree that 1920 x 1200 would be good on a smaller monitor. 22" is great for that sort of res

yea i like the idea of having a rez of 1920x1200 on a 22". Mine is 1680x1050 which is the same as a lot of 20" and don't get me wrong it looks amazing, but it still would be sweet

Perhaps if the protruding glass was tinted black and the speakers were an optional extra that could mount behind the monitor or above / below the glass? I would be less inclined to (as i said above) stick some legs on it and some ornaments.

Yea as for my 21". I use that res to game at and have the desktop 1280x1024. This guy is running that res on a 15" probably for desktop. Thats insane.

i think the glas is what they had to put there to stop it disintergrateing as it dosnt look that strong
