Hi Everyone

Just need a little help with choosing my next computer, I'm wanting a good fast computer so any help would be great. I'm looking at two so far but if anyone can give me any help please.

I have just put down the main components of the computers both have more but just wanted to put the main ones that matter. computers are not for any one thing I just want a good fast computer that's going to work what ever I want to throw at it.

Also just to let you know I'm not an expert on computers so if you think or see something wrong with them please tell me or if you think that something would be better then please let me know, hope you can help

Thanks

Alan

you do know more then 8GB ram won't make much difference in the computer performance, unless you manage to use all of it.

so unsure why you need 32 or 64GB of ram.

also unsure, unless your doing some major work why you need 2 680's.

along with this, maybe aim for a different case if you can to an antec twelve hundred, better cable management out of a few other cases.

How ever if you have to pick out of those 2.

I would go with the first one:
  • better case for cabling.
  • More realistic ram amount

only thing that has me wondering is. if your saying 'fully water cooled' do you mean CPU +GPU's? if so it won't cool very well on a single RX360.

8gb or maybe 16gb is all you will need, also a 1050w power supply is massive overkill, It would seem to me that you are willing to spend money just because you have it rather than going with what is best value for money, also you will never ever meed 2x GTX 680, If you really want to sli then get 2 GTX 670's they are much cheaper and roughly the same performance

Yes both CPU & GPU Will be cooled and thanks for reply and I think the RX360 Is the best they do I think. I will take note about the ram too thanks.

you will need more then the single radiator. A CPU can run on a 240, and maybe a GPU on say a 240.

how ever i really don't think the cases you mentioned are big enough for this kind of water cooling.

so don't think you can cool both GPU's and CPU with a single 360.

I think the most important thing is what you are going to be using it for, so what do you need the computer for?

Was thinking the same thing. unsure why he needs so much ram, or a very expensive CPU, and 2 GPU's

I do all sorts video stuff pictures, games, Like I said just want a good computer what will do anything that comes up.

I do most of what you just said, playing most games can be done with a single 680 or even a 670 ( still using 2 6870's).

By pictures are you meaning like Photoshop? if so don't need much ram.

I'm still only using a I5 760, only have 12GB ram.

this is a bit better for a build, you could still save a lot by only having 16GB ram. pretty sure you won't need much more then 8GB though if that.

Thats better although I would still recommend the 670 over the 680 and also 32gb is still way to much, for what your saying you want it for 8gb sounds perfectly fine

I work with 3dsmax, photoshop and autocad, and even when rendering 16gb it's enough, 32gb sometimes (rarely) is better, 64 is madness. For professional use a quadro is better, but if you want to play games also and etc its better to go to the red side (7970) but if you are comparing this 2 pc's please go eith the 3rd pc, with a gtx670 (maybe 2)

why the 670 instead of the 680 ?

I'm not wanting to save money or anything I just want a fast computer that's going to last a while and do everything i want to do ....and like i said before I'm not much in the know about computers

I'm just going on the sites I have seen that builds them for you to your specs.

Cheers

The problem I'm having is getting one built, the first computer is by UKGC Second one is DINOPC .CO.UK. UKGC only have the sabertooth p67 on the build your own computer bit.

So if anyone knows a better place that builds please let me know cheers.

where in the UK are you? it really really isn't that difficult to build yourself. or ask if any of the forumer's here live nearby. I am sure one of them might do it for you for a lesser fee.
