The only "bad" thing about them is the start-stop-start behaviour on a cold boot (doesn't do it during a restart) & that may be fixed by a new BIOS. I can find you complaint posts about the Asus & Gigabytes too if you want ... There is no perfect mobo.

C cuprasport New member Jul 26, 2007 #6 id try and stick witht he asus if your overclocking they seem to give better results, the best bang for buck board is the p5k-e but if you dont want crossfire or wifi the basic board will overclock fine

B BUFF New member Jul 26, 2007 #7 I think that you'll find that the P5K has more Vdroop & lower usable voltages (only 2.1 or 2.2V for Vdimm iirc). It also doesn't have ICH9R if you wanted it whereas the IP35 & DS3R do for similar money.
