o yeah iam having major probs with the 460 its running at 98c in game ? any suggestions ?

yeh it has always been high but its got worse since i took it apart cleaned it and re-applied thermal paste, and flashed the bios for the fan speed to 100%

i was thinking about this lol since i already have a MASSIVE cpu heatsink why not have a massive gpu heatsink aswell

gpu fan

The Shaman is meant to be very good and is also compatible with lots of other cards as well. But when you start going to the expense of adding aftermarket coolers to a gpu - I wonder whether is might just be better to get a cooler gpu. You can get a 560ti for £177.

I got a Shinobi myself and gotta love it

£177 or £50 ? im not struggling to pay games yet so iam not really after a new card till I can’t play games but the 560ti is really good i think i would rather spend the ssame money and get the cooler and a new gigabyte mb

Fair enough just thought that if you sold the 460 and added the £50 you wouldn't be far off a new card.

I went through a similar thing recently and ended up with a new card rather than add an aftermarket cooler.

It fits and is also massive now getting temps of 69c full load and 30c no load with the side on its even lower without the side on...

1 more thing its silent aswell...

The good thing is this cooler fits all nvidia cards so if i upgrade later ill just put this thing on it
