Need to clean my water loop but how?

Hi,

I've actually been long overdue for cleaning my loop. I'm going to be changing my tubing and rinsing out the rad with hot distilled water/vinegar mix but for my pump/reservoir would it be ok to use the same mixture?

The problem is, my pump is one of those XSPC 2 in 1 reservoirs where the pump sits inside the acrylic box reservoir. There's some stuff in it too so I'm not sure how to get it out. If I just left distilled water/vinegar mixture inside of it over night, would it damage the pump?

I was planning to do that for the CPU block and fittings as well, just let them soak over night. Was just wondering if this would be appropriate.

Maybe you could try running 5-10% white vinegar mixture in the loop overnight.

5-10% should be just sufficient to clear out any unwanted stuff while leaving the waterblocks and pumps intact.
