1000W should be fine, id probs go for the Corsair RM1200 or something and have tons of head room, nice pc there, im guessing for rendering?

Watching a linus Vid he had 4 980's pulling less than 1000W running a benchmark. obv does not include the surge when it initially pulls but 2 cards maybe 700W if heavy OC with system, maybe 40W for ya fans and what ever ya pump is.

I'd double that memory depending on the OS you are using.

850watt would be fine tbh. Just make sure to get a high quality unit.

An overclocked 5960X can pull over 400 watts on it's own

Unless the OP has a lot of number crunching 4 x 4gb of DDR4 will be faster and a lot cheaper as well.

Never skimp on a PSU, it is one of the cheapest components but can cost you a lot of money if it fails.
