right ive jus done the vdimm and vdroop mod on my p4c800 deluxe. im now tryin 2 set the 50k vdimm resistor 2 28k. atm its readin at 4.5k from 2.4k and that was with like 20 turns on the screw?? is this normal? so many turns for such a little increase?

also i have the i have the red connector from my multi meter on the top pin on the 50k resistor and the black connector frm the multi meter on the middle pin on the resistor is this right? :p

well

you set the VR to 28k before soldering to the board...

and u measure the middle and one of the two legs...

the vrs i am using are 18 turn so how on earth have you screwed them more...

lol my ones jus spin round and round :p . also brw how do i measure the vdimm voltage? wat settin do i use on the multimeter? ty

voltage obviously :D

set it to 20V for example..and ground one of the "pens" and the other one on the bottom leg of the mosfet on top of the capacitor on the right hand side of your agp slot which is under the dimm slots...you cant miss it..

lol talk about make me feel smart lol. but ty :p jus tweakin my droop mod now settin 1.55 in the bios reads 1.6 volts atm vr set at 28k

well every board acts different...

my current board is acting weird...overvolts a lot...

especially at lower vcore voltages

i cant get it that stable...

my last board 1.75v bios did 1.75v rock solid so my 2.8 did ~4160mhz stable

now with the new board...i can push 1.744 which still fluctuates and i am running my cpu lower...arround 4ghz..

will need to check the max stable with the new board...

too busy burning in my ram now which kicks some serious butt at the mo :D
