My friend ordered these parts against my advice lol is it even going to be compatible i mean with the NH-D14 and that GPU going to fit that little mobo without conflict

CPU Cooler: NHD-14

The gene is actually an awesome board. Bit of a shame he didn't put a 3570k instead of the 2500k in the order though.
Well hes more into overclocking and what not and it does seem ivy runs allot hotter than sandy bridge so honestly for him it has no benefit to his wants and needs.hes old school and intends on keeping it that way lol
 
I would go with a Radeon 7850 and a HX750 if your budget allows it

I actually agree with you but he already ordered the stuff i really wish he would have waited he did a pretty good job picking everything except i wouldn't of let him buy that PSU is not very good i would have went seasonic and i would have had him get a ASUS or MSI brand GPU but i would have went with the Radeon 7850 since it's better bang for his buck oh well though hes happy with his rig and at the end of the day i guess that's all that really matters.
