haha good question i should of said well playing games and coding with a bit of Photoshop that's why I going for a i7 3770k

games like battle field

also a little but of Virtual Mashines

psu : corsair ax/hx 850

case: Shinobi would be fine or something bigger like switch 810

mobo: ima big fan of asus boards so sabertooth :3

gpu: msi 7770 power or 560ti(both pretty much minimum for 1080p high settings bf3, although my gtx 460 does 60 constant 1080p at ultra)

It's an unusual suggestion but you might want to have a look at the asus p8z77 ws mobo, gpu gtx 670 or 680, psu corsair ax750

Ok then, in that case how about this list of parts here:

CPU: 3770K

CPU Cooler: H100 (or something like a NH-D14 or a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo if you wanna save a little wonga)

HDD: WD Cavair Green 1TB

Case: Fractal Arc Midi

Mobo: MSI Z77 GD55

SSD (Boot drive): Corsair Force 3 60GB

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz 1.5v (or Vengeance LP if you choose an air heatsink)

PSU: Silverstone Strider ST60F-P, 600W 80 Plus Bronze

GPU: Asus 7870 DirectCUii

Adds up to a smidge over £1000

good point, the only way i can get close to the budget is buying from dabs and ebuyer

That's a good point actually. OP defo check out other sites like Aria, Overclockers.co.uk and Dabs to see if you can get a better price or not. But definitely order everything from one site, it's makes it a LOT easier

Ok sounds good, that would make it all about £980 in total

would be better if i got a gigabyte board and also are the fans quite on the case

as my current pc i build is loud lol

The case fans are super quiet. Also, no stick with the MSI board as it's one of the best Z77 boards on sale and is most definitely the best value for money board.

Also, if you want a quiet rig i'd recommend either buying 2 new fans for the H100 as the stock fans are noisy (something like Akasa Apache's would be perfect), or alternatively you could go with a NH-D14 as it's super quiet. But if you do go with a D14 you MUST buy Vegeance LP RAM because the normal Vengeance RAM won't fit

ye i was thinking of geting some better fans for the H100 and do you know any good cases with a window?

How much extra could you spend on the case? The Arc is £70, so it's good value

Btw you could mod a side panel window in the Arc if you felt up to it, that's always an option too

I think your best bet would be something like a Corsair 600T or 650D. I do believe they can fit H100's in the roof, but i'm not 100% sure, can't quite remember if they do or not
