what size of heatshrink tube do u use for covering each cable? I find the 3mm ones r too big for seperate wires

I use some really small heatshrink to cover the soldering/wire 2-3mm. On the rest i use mdpc heatshrink. The store is not open atm but i think they are 5-6mm or 1/4". They shrink well btw.

I normally use 1/8" but it can be difficult to get it over the sleeve so im more satisfied by the mdpc ones.

They look brilliant

Edit: Been doing some cable management, but my ribs are hurting like hell, so its not easy to do.

Those drives do look awesome. I hope you have a good experience with them as I've heard many complaints about OCZ drives. It might be the cheaper drives that have the problems, although I'm not entirely sure. It could also be that the initial batches were bad and the newer revisions have everything "fixed."

The Vertex 3 is one of the best SSD's on the market despite all the crap people say about OCZ, they offer good value for money and good performance.

It's probably just Agility 3 and the lower end models that have had the problems or it might just be a case of people over exaggerating problems. I don't really know :/

Thanks.

Already used one Vertex for 6-8months and it has been top notch, 100% stable and also among the top performance wise. Theres no manufacturer in the marked who didnt have an issue with their ssd's due to bad batches/firmware. Even Intel had SSD's dying, and they have the most reliable ones. I have used and owned Intel/corsair ssd's who died but i never talked badly about them or recomended people not to buy there products. The reason for me not flaming the producers is that all products can die or end up faulty. Its just the way it is :-)

Yeah i agree and i have only good experience with OCZ.

Just popped back to see the progress. I love this entire build, the time effort and attention to detail that has gone into this is amazing
