Il post a few pictures of the content later tonight

Working on the two sideplanks that will hold the rads. Almost finnished first one, but i need to tap out on the surface so the radgrill is even with rest of surface. Sanding and painting later when the top floor is done.

I bought a hand jigsaw, and that worked nicely. Used that first and when the cut was long enough i switched to a better handsaw for wood. This part i really enjoy, and i notice how mutch quicker i work. Will update some more tonight when i have checked that the fans fits ok, and when the radgrill is fitted.

Looking good, mate, this going to be awesome when completed.

Just noticed you have the same Arsenal mug as me

You're brave to have sawn that on the same desk as your rig is on/ at - you'll be picking bits of saw dust and shavings out the grooves and keyboard for the next couple weeks

Do you mean my lap? not a problem at all. I used a hand saw that dosnt leave mutch small dust and i cut it far away from it. Also used a vacuumcleaner after very time i used the saw. And....the lap top is 7 years old, so i really dont care

Our kid had an inflammation, so i didnt get any time for project work during my freeperiod. She's taking penicelin and starts to get well now, so il be continuing with the project in this midweek. Im at nightshift now and also got work next weekend. Then its another freeperiod coming up, so il guess il be doing good progress then.

SB-E is closing in, and im very exited about the performance of it. Hoping to find a good high end MB that fits my modd theme. As it looks right now, i will most likely get the UD5. If they launch a UD7 with black pcb and goldpainted blocks i would get that straight away. Got a fealing the UD7 will only be orange themed like we have seen at pre launch pictures.

Yup, SB-E is just around the corner. Can't wait to see how it'll perform. Definitely hope Gigabyte will stick with the black and gold theme.

Yeah, crossing fingers.

Heres an update on the parts that have recently arrived. These fittings and angle connectors are lovely. Will change the o-rings to blue ones.

I have decided for the UD5 and the 3930k. Will order it asap when they have it in stock here in Norway. This MB will fit in nicely with my modd

Looks like the x79 UD7 will be with only the orange theme. But, im not sure, so im gonna write Gigabyte a mail and ask if they will launch another UD7 for the x79.

I can run 3 graphicscards with UD5, and for me, that will be enough. I also got thumbscrews for the MB that came with one of the Lian Li chassis'es, witch i am planing to paint gold. I have never o.c with a Gigabyte MB, and i hope it isnt to mutch hazzle compared to the Asus mb's.
