Decided for gold. Majority of inside is black. Can redo it if i think it gets to mutch of it.

I am looking forward to seeing how this goes as I am going to have an Antec 1200 spare in the next month or so that I am hoping to do something with.

That is looking better than i thought it would in gold. It's not as overpowering as i was imagining it would be

Yeah im really happy with it so far.
Yeah i think so too. Im happy i didnt go for black paint.
Starting the woodpart tomorrow or friday. Gonna finnish cabinets first. This is the most demanding part with load of cutting, sanding and painting. Hopefully im done with the two cabinets before the end of weekend.

Got some measuring to do, before i start to build the desk. I also need to practice some on acrylic cut outs. Using smoked acrylig plated for the xigmatek 140mm fans intake. Dont wanna ruin that nice acrylic, so i got some old i can practice on. Got this contour saw(dont know if you call it that in english) i havent used before, so im alitle exited on how that will work out.

Have tested out a new hole saw i bought today. I took a big piece of acrylic and made a 12,5cm hole in it. The result was very good, so il think il drop using the contour saw. Im also done with measuring the cabinets and desks, and i have picked out what wood material i will use.

Uh oh. I need to hurry up a bit. LGA 2011 is said to be ready at 15 of November. Our child has been sick 7 days so i havent done anything but i will continue with it tomorrow. This weekend i will finnish the two cabinets, sand them and paint them. Also need to order the 5-6mm glass to have on top of desk. When this is done i will be so exited because then its coming togetter and i can plan how to do the cables and cut out holes. Got my OC3D logos in the mail today and ive also ordered a lian li front panel with on/off/reset/usb's, a usb 3.0 hub, NZXT led lightning white and blue and lots of cable extensions and sleeving for it.

Can I ask where you ordered your front panel from. I was all set to just buy a Corsair 650D for my nex rig and throw the Cosmos, but if I use it the £130 saved can buy a lot of lights and bling. If I do go with it, it's going to be my first ever mod, hell! only my second rig with a led in it.

Ty, our litle one is finaly back to normal, so thanks god for that. I almost didnt sleep for 7 days
I might have miswritten some when i said front panel, and maybe people think its the hole front of one chassis. It was late and what i was going to write was a multi media I/0, and it fits in a 5.25" bay. So just to clear that up
Yeah you should definitely modd the Cosmos because its a really cool case to work on. Get a window maybe, spraypaint the inside and ive also seen people who have turned the MB tray 90 degrees witch is really nice for the airflow. I shall send you a few links in PM on some nice cosmos mods ive seen.
