my first build

sup dudes i built a computer for my office today using a few bit of the old pc and a few donor bits. its a tidy as i could get it as the ancient enermax case wasnt really designed with cable management in mind imo lol

specs as follows

i3-540 3.06ghz no o.c. stock cooling

asrock h55m board

team elite 1x 4gb stick 1333 (havent checked timings or anything)

syncmaster 500gb (salvaged)

radeon vfx hd 5450 1gb lo profile passive edition

and finally an evo labs 650w psu

yea i know it sucks. but its for work and cost a total of £225 to build which is a considerable chunk less than my monitor cost me for my in progress rig so heres the insides of er

cheers guys. what sucks about it is i knew from the moment i stepped into the local computer place they were gonna have there way with my bank account and i know i could have got it about 30% cheaper for that or atleast a sandy setup for the same. but i defo have the bug and want my paretns to allow me to do one for the fam for xmas. they prob wont but heres hoping lol

You've done a good job in making it nice and tidy, and it's something you can build up from. Never a bad thing.

First thing I'd be keeping an eye out for in the Christmas sales would be a nice cheap (£40) case for it
