this is my first build guys so i wanted to get your opinion i wanted to avoid full size towers and also full size motherboard since i wont use all the extra slots so i went with a Matx build
parts:
i7 4770k
MSI Z87M
G.SKILL Ripjaws x series 8bg
EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750
Corsair 350d
2 sandisk extreme 256gb ssd on raid0
corsair 100i cpu cooling

so far i spent 750$ but i ran out of money so i couldn't afford a gpu yet but once i save up maybe by mid summer i will be able to buy a r9 290 or 780ti but for now intel hd 4000 been doing the job i can play most of the game i like so far and bf4 in low settings
also i want to add light maybe red or other color to match, any suggestion would be appreciated and any special brand that i could look into im new into this so i don't know much.

Probably could have saved some money and gotten a single bigger SSD so more stuff can be stored and use the extra saved cash towards a better gpu.. Other than that its a simple yet nice build.

Not bad at all for a first timer!

looks pretty good for a first build

for lighting i only recommend white LEDs tbh. other colours tend to bleach out the colours of your parts. bitfenix has white LED strips in different lengths so maybe take a look at those

Thanks for the suggestion I will def look into them but I wonder how long they need to be? Or how many strips should I buy to get good lighting

nice first build mate :)

Thanks mate hehe it took me like 2 hours to finish includin.g the os and drivers but I had 1 problem fitting the 8 pin conector since the h100 was in the way that was my main concern

Id have got the 4670K and a single SSD too

Deffo need to get a GPU and a pair of mem sticks in there to make it look complete :)

Looks good!

my next build is a 350D, nice to see what others are doing with it.

why'd you go for the i7 over an i5 though?

My friend work for a electronic store and they get huge discounts at the end of the year you wouldnt believe how much I pay for.my.i7 lolz it came up to 120$ with the shipping I was so happy

Awesome Build! Happy to see someone else using the 350D and H100i. ^_^

yeah thanks, i know man i cant wait to get it done once i put some white led like cru suggested and add memory and for the final yet best touch the GPU omg ima be jumping. i was really looking forward for the r9 cards but damn how the price went up so fast i really wasn't expecting that i wanted to get the r9290 at 399$ but now that thing cost 600 for that il save a lil more and get gtx 780 or 780 ti what you think?

The 290/290x and the 7870/780ti are all amazing cards.. However though the 290 performs better than the 780 its shadowed by the price.. Mine as well get a custom 780 over a stock 290(which is terrible as we all know).

I can't even buy any 280x,290,290x on my two main etailers anymore as they are all taken off the website due to next to no stock with to many pre-orders.

So really in this current GPU market for those super high end cards, for gaming GTX cards are better price to performance ratio.

Damn, that is a really nice build and you should be happy with it. Cable management is really good too. Maybe look at some LED strips to showcase the hardware when you get a gpu?

would u believe if i tell i cant hear no noise coming from my pc lolz even when i have my ear right next to it i can barely hear the h100i and the psu i cant even hear it

Awesome, just the answer I wanted :D Every enthusiast absolutely rips the Supernova Nex series to bits, but for the price, being 80+ gold, fully modular, with a 10 year warranty and from a very reputable company with amazing customer support in EVGA, I think I'll chance it ;)

yes im thinking of white led strips to show off the rig inside just saving up for the gpu rite now ^_^

Nice and clean, good job with cable management

thanks alot yes i focus alot on cable management my friends told i shouldnt care much about the ones on the back since no one see them but i still took my time i want my system to be as clean as posible
