My First 4ghz Overclock (980x)

Looking promising so far....... although everytime I say that it fails

Anyone else noticed the Forum being slow tonight (I keep getting connection timed out "webpage")?
 
Yes,i take my time oc`ing.I need stable systems for folding,saves me trouble and pre-grey hair

How long do you leave prime running before you call it stable? I know everyone is different on that respect..... whats you opinion?

Never use prime.Linx is the program i use for stability testing.
 
Is that better???? Can't say I have heard of it though, but am new to this Overclocking lark...... (as you may have noticed LOL)

I was recommended linx,when i started folding.It should come closer to,what folding requires to the system.

Is Linx like Prime? how long do you leave it running for, to condem it stable LOL ?

Its a combined cpu/ram test.

A 20 run,i would call stable.Try with 1024mb ram,there is a flip down menu for it.And it need admin rights to run.Right click mouse on linx icon when installed,and run as admin.
