This easter i turned arround to my daughter and asked her what she wanted for easter.
She came out with a robot. I though cool ill just buy her one. any way i took her shopping and she said no i don't what a made one i what to make my own.
Any way i ended up getting her a Build your own robot arm and a screwdriver and tools for her (she aint touching mine). I though no problems ill help her build it as it looked a little complex for her.
Any when we got home with in 1 hour she was sat there and couldn't understand the instructions so i pointed out to her that each sprig of plastic had a letter A, B , C and then each peace has a no 1,2,3.
Any way to cut a short story shot (she had no help from me what so ever) with in 4 hours she had fully assembled the robot including all the electronics and wiring and parts and it was all screwed together properly. I though there is no chance on this earth she had got all the wiring correct but didnt say a word and we then installed the Software to her laptop and plugged it in.
HOLY COW .. every thing was perfect not 1 wire wrong. I couldn't believe it.
any way now she has asked to learn how to do a proper robot and would like to learn how to use my soldering iron as she has seen me using it so much. 0_o and shes only bloody 9 years old.
Ill have to hunt down a cheap build you own robot for her now !!!!
