Here is my completed build. it's gone through numerous changes over the last 2 years, but it's finally done, the longest surviving part is the HD5870 which i purchased in April of 2010.

Recently I removed the HDD Cages, mounted my HDD's in the 5.25" bay with drive bay adaptor that came with my Cooler Master Cosmos S case. Removed stock corsair fans and replaced with Xigmatek XLF fans. I also mounted the SSD behind the motherboard tray and cleaned up alot of cables.

Yeah mate, it is a concern of mine but I will be upgrading it soon, so not to worry.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!

I've used the same fans in my KingPenguin rig

May I ask how you mounted the front intake fan? I had to use zip ties as the fan only has mounts for it to be mounted as an exhaust fan.

So for me it was either zip ties or very long screws, which I don't have.

I used really long screws with nuts on the end. I cant remember how long they were exactly. could you link me to this said rig if you have a gallery for it? id love to check it out

Ah cheers, well the link to the rig is in my sig.

PSU just popped though, so I don't know if any of the components are still working :'(

You can fix this by positioning the PCI-E cables in such a way that they pull the PCB of the graphics card up, sort of like suspending the card partly from the cables.

Just pull the cables from the back and zip-tie them in. It makes it look less bent, and would probably make it last longer imo.

Hope the rest of your rig's ok. That must suck having a ded PSU.
