Proposed New Build

Hi all,

Looking at a building Nov this year so I know by then there may be new tech out to think about. So if I was to buy today I would go the following:

Corsair Crystal 570X RGB Mirror Black ATX Case, T/G Window, No PSU

ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero (WI-FI) Motherboard
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X

G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3200C16Q-32GTZR 32GB (4x8GB) 3200MHz DDR4

Samsung 960 PRO 512GB M.2 (PCIE) SSD

Samsung 860 PRO 1TB SSD

Corsair H150i PRO RGB Liquid CPU Cooler (front mounted) I would like to put the NZXT in but for compatibility sake...but it looks so sexy!

Corsair LL Series LL120 RGB 120mm Fan, 3-pack Fan w/ Lighting Node PRO for push pull on the front. (Overkill???)

Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound 12 Gram Tube

Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Retail Pack

I will reuse my AX1200i PS, 750gig Samsung SSD and my 2x4 TB HDD as per my sig block along with my current 1080.

I would really appreciate thoughts or suggestions as my previous build was 5 years ago come Nov so I have been doing quite a bit of u-tubing in the last few weeks but probably missed something important.

I plan to probably ditch my old Mac as well and turn this into my Photo edit machine as well as gaming.

Cheers in advance!

you won't need push/pull
i would use that money and upgrade the h150i fans to RGB maglevs

you may also consider getting another RGB 140 maglev fan for the exhaust

I would change a few things:
Case to Lian Li PC-O11DW Dynamic
And your ram i would get in cl14 instead of 16, or only go for 16 gb 4000 mhz cl 17, rysen benefits from higher ram clocks and tigther timings, if iam not mistaking.
And yes i would do push pull for slightly better temps.
Also would wait for i7 8 core instead.
Else its close to perfect.

I have seen some vids of that case and it is pretty sweet.

Why the I7 if I plan to other stuff besides gaming?

Cheers...
