Hi

after having my 2500k build since 2012... I have finally upgraded!
hoping for at least another 5 years out of this system!

8700k (4.9GHz @ 1.232v, delidded)
MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon
MSI 980ti
16gb TeamGroup Dark Pro 3200MHz CL14
256Gb WD Black M.2 NVMe
256GB Samsung 840 SSD
1TB USB3 steam HDD
Noctua NHD-14
Corsair White LED AF fans
Corsair RM650 PSU
Corsair Air 540
Logitech G910 orion spark, G602 & G430

Lighting provided by Cablemod widebeam RGB magnetic strips, and controlled by a cheapo eBay remote (way easier than the MSI software)

It looks neat. Well done. You can take black permanent marker and unify those front I/O and USB wires. Easy ghetto trick. :)

Are you going to get some more LED fans and have them on the other side?

Have you got the current ones on exhaust?

yes, rad fans on exhaust.
I have 1 more fan. Would need to get another and more screws to fit. But I wasn’t gonna bother, Although it is a bit dark under there!
Was thinking it would be easier to maintain the cleanliness of the rad without fans in the way.

Edit: don’t need push pull so I can just remove the top fans, and free up the long screws for mounting some new led fans on the underside. Just need to remember to check for crap periodically!

Have just ordered a pair of SP120 white LED fans, the spare I had is an AF120. if I'm buying more anyway, may as well get the correct ones for the application.

Nice build. Can you hit 5ghz with the new cooler, or are you top out on volts :)

Arr 1,232v isn't that much :)

Have not tried yet. Only fitted last night!

Ok. So after TTL ‘forcing’ me to spend more money!
A small learning curve later...
The small screws that come with the AIO are too long. Had to go out for some more washers.
And the long screws also a big to too long. Had to stack a few washers on them.
And once completed the fans spinning flat out no matter what I did in link.
After many reboots and unplugging I realised I had bought DC fans. And can’t work out how to set from PWM in link. So just plugged them into mobo headers.

Yeah it's a nightmare to get a fair representation of the LEDs on camera.

Really nice build! It's like mine but done properly. :D
