After 3 years i finally decided to build a new system and keep the old one as a back up / media server.
This is my first build ever and i think the parts i have are okay but let me know if there is anything i should change out.
CPU: i5 4670
Ram: 8gb Vengence
Mobo: Asus Z87-i pro
Gpu: EVGA 760 sc
Psu: Seasonic G650 semi modular
Cooler: Corsair H105
HDD: 1x 1tb 1x 500gb (will swap 500gb to 1 or 2 ssd's)
Case: BitFenix Prodigy
So on Tuesday i left work to take delivery of my goodies.
I wanted to get straight to it but i had to go finish my shift.
Later on that day i came home made a cup of tea and got stuck in, i didn't know what order i should of been doing things so i learned as i went along.
I was impressed with how much they packed onto this tiny board
After removing the optical tray and top hdd rack i could mount the H105 in the top of the case
I opted to have the front and rear as intakes and exhaust on the rad (if i should change it let me know)
The power supply was a little tricky to fit as the cables were pulled pretty tight.
My wiring isn't the tidiest at the moment so i won't show you it.
I love how much you can get into these small cases
And that's her finished for now i guess.
I'm planning on moving the side panel switches and ports to possibly the front for easier access.
Any comments welcome good or bad.
