I own 2 x 1gb Mushkin Memory Modules

They comfortably do 255 x 11 @ stock 3-3-2-7 - 2.7v

I have to go to 3-4-4-8 - 2.8v to get to 270 but its not 100% stable

Here my A64 tweaker screenie:

Any ideas on how to get this higher?

redlines use infenion chips , meaning 3-4-4-8 is a no-no . Try running 3-3-2-7 and seeing how high you can go. Start with 2.6V vdimm and work higher.

lower your trfc to 16 , Trrd to 3 and see if that helps ur stability. What drive strenghts are you using ?? Try 7/2 or 5/3 . Idle cycle to 16. Try Twr at 3. Check for 3d stability. Infenions are stable 2D for about 5 ~ 10 mhz more than they are stable for 3D .

thats a good place to start. The rest , basically its trial and error. The alpha timings majorly depend upon what kind of proc you have and what kind of memory modules you have. I have seen different set of TCCD needing different kind of settings. Most consistent memory settings that I have seen are the winbond/infenion memory. The most varied would be samsung. You can almost bet that your set wont use the same settings that other ppl's sets do .

Basically you need time to play with settings. A really good way of testing the change in bandwidth is memtest . For alpha timings , try Super Pi , 1M and 2M , it gives u results for the changes right away.

I got to 270 @ 3-3-2-7 2.8v but I'm hesitant to put more through the chips at present.

255 x 11 will do for the me. I'll push a little higher with looser timings but you said that 3-4-4-7/8 wouldn't work :eh:
