Hi ya fellas, just wondering if there are any tips/tricks you can provide me with the above setup and installation of my Mach II

Ive already installed it but i want to check that it's all fine and dandy.

My evap head is running at -53 idle rising to -33 under load.

I sprayed the rear of the motherboard with pcb laquer before i installed it.

I used 1 layer of seal string around the rear mounting plate and 2 on the front along with 2 circles of string around each of the screw holes.

I also put Alumina in the cpu socket and AS Ceramique between cpu/head

Just want to check that everythings o.k on that lot.

Now my motherboard temps report cpu temps as 45 degrees when im in the bios - i know that the board has issues with temp reporting anyway but can any other users confirm that there's does the same???

Ive also used MBM5 using the Neo 754 config as i suspect they have the same temp probes, although i dont actually know this.

On a plus note im running my A64 3500 at 2740mhz 11x249 4xHTT 1:1

burning it in atm.

Cheers for any comments fellas :D

Ooh whats the best grease to use in the socket btw?

AFAIK the MSI temp probes dont report negative temps correctly.

Use Dialectric grease on the cpusocket if you havent already done so, it helps prevent "accidents" :D

I used the supplied Arctic Alumina in the CPU like you said matey.

Cheers for the Mach btw :D

You got any spare 120.2's knocking about you dont want???

Put mine in to w/c the Ultra and it leaked like the Kirsk

Lo mighty i got me one o them msi boards a god bios to use is 1.33 beta it still doesn't read the temps right but lets you supply more volts to your cpu without the ocp kickin in i'll post the link to it i found the 1.35 beta doesnt have any htt multi's loool

That sounds good matey.....

Ive managed to get my cpu up to 2800mhz 1:1 using the max voltages 1.85v Core and 2.85v VDimm

It'll take more i know it coz i can get it up to 2900mhz+ using the 166 mem divider with 3xHTT

If you can mail me the bios's that's be ace mate. :D
