ok so today i was overclocking my gtx 560ti hawk and my system froze so i did a hard reset and it booted back up ok, however none of the temperatures are showing anymore in After burner, and was wondering what the problem could be?

i have already tried reinstalling different versions of afterburner

could i have burnt the sensors out?

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks, Chris

did you uninstall first??? or just re-install over it?? I had a crash the other day after putting my rig back together from painting (did some minor cable management) and afterburner said it was corrupted. I re-installed over it to no avail only un-installing first worked to restore it. But on the plus side it kept my settings

I was kind of going for a 5000 p score in 3d mark 11 (trial version) so was absolutely overclocking the living *%$! out of my card

anyways yes i can still see the gpu temp in gpu-z (only the core tho) so it looks like the sensor isn't burnt out. but what else could it be ?

Ok so i reinstalled it again after completely removing it and it is showing the VRM temp and the Memory temp but not the core temp hmmm.

yes i am using beta 4 2.2.0

Just to add CPUID Hardware monitor is also giving me a core temperature the same as GPU-Z

hmmm... problem lies with Afterburner then. You should scour the Afterburner section of the Guru3D forums to see if any1 else has had that problem.

could it be possible that after burner needs something on the card that i have fried and thats why only ab is not working?

Okayy now i feel really stupid...

I just saw a screen shot on the guru3d forums of AB and it showed the settings menu for selecting what graphs to show.

so i open up AB and go to it only to find a scroll bar which i had ever noticed before FACE TO PALM

I then scrolled down and re-ticked the show gpu temperature "tick" and behold it reappears in the monitoring section of AB

What a lot of panic for nothing lol Ahhh well live and learn...

i guess

(I still don't actually know how it got disabled in the first place lol)
