If you want to spend more and get intel then go or it. If you want to spend less and see how steamroller ends up being then go for that route...

I just read that the new steamrollers are coming out soon ?? its been released at E3, or have i read that wrong? And apparently they're going to be the same sort of price as intel cpu's and have boost clocks of like 5GHz???

They would probably be the AMD FX-9590 - FX-9570 CPU's which are high binned piledriver (vishera) cores not steamroller.
