hey

ime contemplating getting a new case and ive taken a fancy to the ufo cases from mountain mods.

does anyone here have one?

can tell me what the finish and build quality is like?

and do they weigh much and how is it installing components?

and is the airflow good like they say it is?

thanks in advance.

From what I have seen and heard they are very very well built. I have seen a mod done with one in person and what was left of the original case looked like it was nice. The mobo tray comes out and all the drive installation looks to be very easy. I am picking one up for my phase rig soon.

sweet,be sure to let me know how it is twisted:)

thanks for the links dave, the mm site has plenty of pics though:D

i am more after an insight into the quality and so on as they are about £150 converted from us$ but they are sekc!!:yumyum:

It will be August before I get mine so don't hold your breath. I will definetly let ya know though if you haven't gotten one yet

august aint so bad,i am in no rush tbh-i am thinking in about 2-3 months i might get one,we will see:p

i have my eye on the black one with uv green reactive windows:yumyum:

Hands down best crafted cases you can buy. Also the shiznit for modding the hell out of.

MM cases FTW. Get one and feel the power!

I currently have one... Pics can be found on my thread http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=4605

As to your other questions:

The finish depends on what colour preference you choose.. as most of you know they can come in powder coated red or black and brushed aluminium.

That said... my powder coated black is very nice and shiny too :yumyum:

Installing components is a dream.. no difficulty what-so-ever and they don't weigh as much as people think. Roughly 13kg for such a big case.

Because there is so much space in this beast, you won't need to worry much about the airflow :p

I for sure will post lots of pics and if wanted I will post a review about it once I do get it. I also am looking at the black powder coat with 3 uv green windows. I have something for UV Green but don't ask why...every case I have ever done is uv green.
