Moore's Law Dead?

Moore's Law is dead according to the man himself. All those years of "the number of transistors on a die will double every 18mo" beaten into your heads is all for naught. Care to comment? Feel free to do so below...

While nothing lasts for ever, I'd say what he said to day is wrong, purely for the fact that laser processors etc will have lots more transistors, while not necessarily the same as in current processors, they're still transistors, and new technologies will be developed, so I'd say it will continue to go up.
