Modding My GTX 780 Ti

Will do, I'll update the OP as well about how to change the LED :)

To change the LED colour you need to first take the shroud apart which consists of 8 x 2mm hex screws and a few 1.5mm hex screws, For this use a 1.5mm and 2mm alan/hex key.

Once that has been done take the shroud to pieces and the LED strip will just fall out.

You can disconnect the wire but it's really fiddly so just leave it attached.

Once you have the LED strip in hand use the 400 grit sand paper on it until you are left with a dark clear surface, Be sure to keep any debris away from the card.

Good lad - shall be doing the bench 780 Ti when I cba

If Orca had a white coat on it with it left white on the LED, And my God thats is a beautiful card, i wonder if you could get a black incandescent finish with a blue under tone.

That card really is gorgeous.

Thank you :)

If you want it, It can be done, Custom paint jobs are easy as hell they just require patience and prep.

I was going to go with a gloss black metallic undertone mix but decided on the gloss black to go with the rest of the build :)

Your more than welcome :) its beautiful work.
i Really like the look of it :D,
my mods this week, will pale in comparison, what temps do you cook them in the oven?

Roughly 150'c for 1-2 hours, I only have a gas oven so I have to keep the door slightly open to keep it at the correct temp ^_^

ah right lol will be a night jobby for me here lol share a house with 6 other people... sorry can eat im cooking the paint on my gpu ... lol

Awesome mod, love the white LED's on the GTX780ti, looks so much better than the stock green IMO, you could probably put a coloured film over it if you wanted a different colour too.

Keeping it white as it goes nicely with my keyboard, Mouse, Lights on my memory and all my Corsair AF LED fans and contrasts nicely with the H100i red LED, Mobo red ROG LED's and red mobo underglow lighting strips :)

thats awesome. Nice you have that theme.
What air brush do you use and what do you use as a compresent?

I couldn't tell you ^_^

It's a friends air brush kit, It looks expensive and there's no name on it and it's hooked up to a little compressor, I know how to use it but thats all I know :D
