Kirk, Pepper, epic riffage

Not to forget is Phil Anselmo! Huge respect for that man, never heard anything like him ever! My favorite vocalist is him, without a doubt. Most of us remember the tragidy that happend in 2004 when Dimebag Darrell was shot on stage, such a great person and guitar player. Its hard not to mention Dimebag while talking about Phil Anselmo.

The entire post is black, except the text and picture. dunno what happend there, its a JPEG picture like every other pic I've uploaded/used in the forums posts.

The Purple EP is great man, if you dont have it, u should go get it. I think its great that Phil and his band finaly put something great together on a record after all these years waiting for something to come out. So yeah, I think its very nice, guitar riffs are good, Kirk and Pepper still got nice and heavy guitar sound, and worked out the riffs really good on this record. Every song is good on this Down record. :)

I wasn't to fond of it really mate, Witchtripper is catchy, but I wasn't blown away by any means.

Yea man, Jean Labadie is an absolute beast and Mario is a machine on the pedals... Seen the live 4 times now and they have been solid each time. Even in a 500 capacity venue (Slade Rooms, meh sound) they went for it big stylie. I'd love to see them tear up Bloodstock this year, as they've grown to be one of my favourite bands (up there with Tool, Slayer etc) and deserve every bit of what they've worked on.

Check out their latest album, 'L'enfant Suavage' its a cracker.

It took sometime for me to get used to the new songs, and yes this is probably not the best Down record out there, Three suns and one star is my favorite record. What about you?

Tough one that mate.... anything off Nola to be fair, I honestly can't think of a bad song off that album. Over the Under was good too....
