Hello everyone,
I spent a lot of time to find an appropriate forum section to correctly open this thread and since this doesn't look as a project that will be completed any time soon ( I currently don't have a lot of time due to Uni, neither I have the materials or tools) I thought the case discussion section would be appropriate.
The story:
I have always wanted to have a small form factor test bench on my desk with the motherboard angled towards me and with adequate radiator capacity to satisfy many needs to come.
By wasting a lot of my own free time to learn my way through 3DS Studio Max I have managed to produce what I think is a good enough result that I would like to share with the rest of the community in order to get some suggestions on how the design could be further improved and what are the ups and downs of the current design.
The Bench:
The current design specs are as below:
H: 350mm x W: 350mm x D: 350mm
Form Factor: mAtx
Radiator support: 2x 240mm
2x 5.25" bays
The design:
This is the current design (as my skills are fairly limited i jsut used a photo of my desk in order to give a proper perspective of the size):
As I said guys, I have opened this thread because I absolutely love this type of test bench and I have always envisioned it.
I would like to hear as many suggestions and comments as possible on this since I want it to evolve and become a better and much more feature proof product in case I sometime decide to actually build it.
Thanks a lot for your time
